All inclusive once at Camp excluding massage, trip video, and gratuity.


We normally will give a guest the chance to have their own tent in camp when we are not full. However, when we start filling up (up to 24 guest per trip) we pair up singles of same sex for the 7 nights in camp in our spacious 2 bed tents. If a guest wants to have their own tent, the full single supplement for 8 nights lodging at camp is $3800.


For your return flight home from Puerto Montt book a flight from 3:00 pm onwards.

INITINERY SNAPSHOT

Day 1    Arrive Santiago, Chile and transfer to domestic terminal for flight to Puerto Montt. Transfer to Puerto Varas for overnight in Hotel Cabanas del Lago. Meet in lobby at 7:00 pm for briefing and go out for welcome dinner with the group.(D)

Day 2   Take the "puddle jumper" flight from Puerto Montt to Chaiten. Drive 135 kms up to camp with a hike and picnic lunch along the way. Arrive early afternoon at camp; camp orientation, swim, hot tub, and welcome happy hour. (B+L+D)

Day 3    Wake up to Yoga or an optional early morning hike for an excellent, and scenic, orientation of the Futaleufu Valley.  Then raft from camp to Futaleufú bridge. Return to camp for the optional afternoon activities such as mountain biking, fly-fishing and an intro to river kayaking. (B+L+D)

Day 4    Step-up the rafting today!  Raft from camp to below the Casa de Piedra rapid – class V.  The afternoon is a scenic float to take in the magnificence of Patagonia. (B+L+D)

Day 5    Introduction and training for a day in the inflatable kayaks on the Rio Azul.  (B+L+D)

Day 6    Horseback ride deep into the pristine wilderness of the Rio Azul Valley.  Option to enjoy a quick nature hike to one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Patagonia region.  (B+L+D)

Day 7    Drive to the Pueblo of Futaleufú.  Raft the Inferno Canyon from the Rio Espolón to Rio Azul. A five-mile canyon of class V whitewater, walk around the Dynamite, Zeta and Throne Room rapids, four-mile class II float, then five miles of class IV.  There is the option to only raft the rapids below Inferno Canyon.  (B+L+D)

Day 8    Raft from the Rio Azul through the Terminator, Kyburz, and Himalayas rapids.  Lunch at camp. Raft from camp again to below Casa De Piedra.  Optional hiking, mountain biking or fly-fishing activities available as well.  Last night in camp: lamb roast/Chilean “asado feast” and party. (B+L+D)

Day 9    Drive to Chaiten for flight back to Puerto Montt to catch your flight home, or elsewhere in South America should you choose to extend your trip.
